Today I think I found the one neighborhood in Manhattan that hasn’t caught the Starbucks virus... Delancy from the Bowery over to the bridge. These days it's getting so you can’t walk a block without seeing a Starbucks so it's now the exception rather than the rule when you don’t see one.

I keep thinking how the Seattle coffee craze will eventually burn itself out, in 2020 people will be looking back on Starbucks with a sense of nostalgia and there will no doubt be fewer of them about.

Although I am admittedly addicted to their espresso brownies as the main course of my daily breakfast (ooooo... nutritious!). Also, I do take home the Chai tea in the container as a drink of choice.
